Order your textbooks today!


After attending Orientation and registering for classes, ordering textbooks is easy! You can order them straight from OASIS.

 

Just select the “Student” tab, then click on “Reserve Your Textbooks” and follow the on-screen instructions. This takes out all of the leg work for ordering your books, making it quick and easy to order your books. All you have to figure out is if you want to pick them up in the store, or have them shipped to your house.

Traffic Advisory – Orientation Week of June 4


The University of South Florida will host First Year Student Orientation on Monday, June 4; Tuesday, June 5; Thursday, June 7; and Friday, June 8 on its Tampa campus.

Students will arrive between 7 and 10 a.m. and park in Lot 17B located on Willow Drive at Maple Drive, near the C.W. Bill Young Hall. Their families will park in the Collins Blvd. Parking Facility. Attendance is projected at 750 people.

Higher than normal traffic volumes are expected at the Fletcher Avenue entrance. Additionally, drivers in the Collins Blvd. facility should expect some stopped vehicles as Orientation staff answer questions and facilitate parking. Drivers may want to allow extra time to reach their destination.

Transfer Orientation this Thursday!

The Office of Orientation can’t wait to welcome over 500 new Transfer students on Thursday, May 10, at Transfer Orientation in the Marshall Student Center on USF’s Tampa campus.

Are you attending?

Transfer Orientation is designed with transfer students in mind – you have demonstrated that you can be successful in college. Orientation is designed to prepare you to transition your success to the University of South Florida.

You may want to check out our Getting Here information for important arrival information! In addition, please make sure that you print your parking permit from your e-confirmation PDF that was given to you in MyOrientation.

The USF Office of Orientation would like to notify the campus community of a Transfer Student Orientation on Thursday, May 10.

This event will occur in the Marshall Student Center with parking in the Crescent Hill Parking Facility.  Participants will arrive between 7 and 9 a.m.

Higher than normal traffic volumes are expected at the Fowler Ave. & Fletcher Ave. main entrances and in the Crescent Hill parking area on Holly Drive.

Drivers should expect some stopped vehicles as Orientation staff answer questions and facilitate parking in the Crescent Hill Facility. This may be an area to avoid, if possible, or allow extra time to reach your destination.

In addition, drivers are asked to be mindful of increased pedestrian traffic on Holly Drive throughout the entire day.
